Arpana Rescued From a Brick Factory

April 11, 2011

Due to poverty many children come to work in brick factory as child labour. Life in the brick factory is not easy at all. Life is very hard with out electricity and proper supply of drinking water. It is even worse with the freezing cold weather. During the vounteer team’s visit to the brick factory, we found Arpana left alone in the house with a high fever. She was abused by her step mother. The family was not able to take care of her and her brother. After some legal procedures, we brought Arpana to Lovelight Children’s Home. She now goes to school and lives happily in this new big family. She loves to smile and she can dance beautifully! We are all amazed how little it took to change a child’s life.
